Devon-based digital engagement firm Filmily, a member of the Tech South West Growth Forge accelerator, has set up a corporation in Delaware, USA, in a bid to gain traction internationally.
The establishment of Filmily Inc builds on the company’s track record of delivering digital solutions for global clients, including the San Franciso 49ers, Formula E, Coca Cola, the St Louis Blues hockey team and the David Bowie World Convention.
Based in Totnes, Devon, Filmily’s fan engagement platform crafts bespoke digital content for organisations to connect with their communities and gather exclusive insights into their fanbases. The platform leverages advanced AI and machine learning technologies to analyse fan-generated content and provide actionable insights to clients.
Andy Doyle, founder and CEO of Filmily, said: “Establishing a presence in the US marks a significant milestone in Filmily’s growth journey. Our previous work with major American clients has shown us the immense potential and dynamism in this market. By incorporating in the Diamond State, we’re positioning ourselves to better serve our existing US partners and explore new opportunities.
“This move aligns with our vision to revolutionise fan engagement on a global scale and solidifies our commitment to bridging the gap between brands and their audiences through innovative technology.”

Dan Pritchard, director of Tech South West, said: “Filmily encapsulates what makes the South West tech sector great: cutting edge innovation, collaborating across the tech ecosystem, and global vision.
“The Tech South West team is excited to follow Filmily’s continued success and provide tailored support through the Growth Forge accelerator programme.”
