Across the day, founders explore the economic and energy‑transition context, take part in honest peer discussions on fundraising, hear directly from investors about what moves a deal forward, and map the assets and opportunities shaping their growth journey. Afternoon working groups focus on powering innovation and corporate engagement strategy, giving founders practical pathways to unlock pilots, partnerships and investment.
The Summit exists to strengthen the region’s ClimateTech ecosystem — creating space for founders to learn from each other, build meaningful relationships and leave with clear, actionable next steps that accelerate their progress.

The ClimateTech Founders Summit Report captures a clear picture of a region with growing momentum. Hosted by Tech South West and sponsored by Deloitte, the Summit brought founders, investors and partners together to map the South West’s climatetech landscape, now recognised as the fastest growing cleantech cluster in the UK.
The report highlights founder experiences around funding challenges, innovation bottlenecks and corporate engagement barriers, alongside investor insights on grant volatility, underused debt finance and the importance of early relationships.
It also showcases the region’s strong but fragmented ecosystem and sets out five priorities for the year ahead, including fixing the funding stack, stabilising public innovation finance and building a unified regional narrative.

The ClimateTech Founders Summit took place at Froginwell Estate, bringing together founders, investors and partners for a full day focused on clarity, collaboration and practical action. Sponsored by Deloitte, the event combined economic insight, peer‑led fundraising discussions, a direct investor panel and hands‑on working sessions exploring powering innovation and corporate engagement strategy.
