Welcoming Future Space as an Innovation Partner

We’re excited to welcome Future Space as a new Tech South West Innovation Partner, strengthening our shared mission to champion and accelerate innovation across the region.

Based on UWE Bristol’s Frenchay Campus, Future Space is home to more than 70 science and tech businesses, offering labs, prototyping facilities, workspace and direct links into university research, talent and expertise. It’s one of the South West’s leading hubs for deep tech, healthtech, robotics, AI and engineering innovation.

As part of the partnership, Future Space will share insight and evidence from across its community and UWE Bristol — showcasing how university‑linked research, skills and enterprise create real regional impact.

Matt Freeman, Centre Director at Future Space said: “Delighted that Future Space is working with Tech South West as an Innovation Partner.

Tech South West plays a vital role in championing the region’s trailblazing tech businesses – nurturing the ecosystem from investment and scale-up support to talent development and community building.

We’re looking forward to collaborating on a shared PitchUp! event for our NatWest-funded Product Programme, hosting an AI South West meetup, and exploring many more ways to support the region’s growing tech community together.”

Join us for a special edition of PitchUp Live, hosted in partnership with Future Space Bristol, where innovation takes centre stage and bold founders step into the spotlight.

This high‑energy event brings together eight exciting early‑stage companies, each pitching live in front of a room full of investors, innovators, and ecosystem leaders. Whether you’re scouting your next investment, exploring collaboration opportunities, or simply hungry to see what’s emerging in the South West’s tech and science scene, this is the place to be.

Stick around afterwards for relaxed networking with tasty refreshments to keep the conversations flowing. Register to join here.
