Award-winning Bristol Start-Up YellowDog Gains 1000th Sign Up

September 28, 2017

The team behind the award-winning start-up YellowDog has reached a key milestone - 1000 sign-ups to its innovative YellowDog platform.

In less than two years, YellowDog has gone from an initial idea by founder Gareth Williams to an outstanding technology start-up.

The YellowDog Platform gives animators, 3D artists, studios, and VFX artists the ability to quickly render their computer generated creations.

Gareth himself is thrilled to reach so many people, and transform their rendering experience.

He said: “YellowDog was founded on the principle that things could be done better, and it’s a joy to work with our customers and see that come to fruition. Now that we have one thousand businesses signed up to the platform, we can’t wait to continue to develop more offerings for the market.”

YellowDog has received support from Oracle, Engine Shed in Bristol, and SETsquared as they set about disrupting industry standards, and working with global studios such as Blue Zoo, Cum Creative, and No Ghost.

The disruptive technology changing how businesses access computer power for intensive batch processing tasks, has seen YellowDog win two awards this year and nominated for two more.

Gareth added: “We’re focusing now on expanding our capabilities. It is vital that we continue to grow, and taking our Limitless Compute Platform to new markets enables us to do just that.”
